Although widely used, nanofiltration membranes face significant challenges in dye concentration and desalting applications due to irreversible fouling and flux decline at high dye concentrations resulting in high operational costs from frequent membrane replacement.

OUR SOLUTION

Our two-stage solution combines nano-selective forward osmosis (FOns) with traditional nanofiltration to reduce the frequency of membrane replacements and improve the quality of the dye concentrate.
